414 Photo Studio focuses on musician portraits and love stories — from artist portraits and concert photography to couples, engagements, elopements, and weddings.
With a background as a classical musician, I approach photography with the same sensitivity I bring to music: paying attention to expression, emotion, movement, and the small moments that make each person and story different.

Hi, I'm Ally Li, the photographer behind 414 Photo Studio. I'm both a photographer and a classical musician.
As a graduate of The Juilliard School, music has been a defining part of my life and has deeply shaped the way I understand art, emotion, and storytelling.
My interest in photography began with something very personal: thinking about the kind of portraits I would want as a musician myself.
Musicians spend years developing their own artistic identity, and I believe their photographs should feel just as individual. I wanted to create portraits that could communicate something about an artist before a single note was played. That became the foundation of my work with musician portraits.
As I photographed more people, I became equally drawn to capturing human connection — especially the relationship between two people in love. The quiet moments, movement, anticipation, and emotion reminded me of many of the things I have always loved about music.
Today, those two worlds are at the heart of 414 Photo Studio: Musicians & Love Stories.
